The building of the Diagnostic Institute has been designed to
accommodate both major activities, i.e. human diagnostics and animal experiments. One CT
scanner and a DSA equipment is dedicated only for research, occasionally MR experiments on
animal are also performed. Animal MR examinations are performed overnight only. For
experimental (surgical, interventional) purposes two operation rooms are also available.
Three CT scanners, two MR scanner one DSA
and an US are operated by the Diagnostic Institute.

Research activity is also supported by a laboratory with a
Bruker Minispec PC140 NMR spectroscope and auxiliary small equipments.
Computer background relies on a Hewlett-Packard network,
server, and PCs. For image processing we use

- Sun Ultra 60 – from General Electric
